Repricer lets you reprice according to all possible marketplace conditions, to let you win the Buy Box against every type of rival.

Important Information

  • Even with the strategy created we will never go below your min/max prices.

  • If you have multiple scenarios we will always chose the most competitive which would be the lowest price

  • The default rule is a rule to which the repricer will revert if none of the competitor rules apply.

Templates

Within your account we have some templates of different strategies our product specialists would suggest to use if you want to be more targeted but unsure of areas you would like to target. These templates can give you some insight or even some inspiration on how you would like to compete. Each template is active and ready to go.

To get to your templates just go to the following directions:

Directions: Repricer>My Repricers>Drop down arrow beside “Create a Repricer”>”Create a Repricer form Template”

Here we can see the breakdown of each template and the strategy inbuilt:

1% Below The Competition

With this strategy we are targeting ALL competitors to go below by 1% within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors we will increase your price to your max price.

.01 Amount below EXCEPT Amazon

With this strategy we are targeting ALL competitors EXCEPT Amazon to go below by .01 Amount. The reason this is amount at it can be applied to different marketplace with different currencies. This all takes place within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors or just Amazon we will increase your price to your max price.

Featured Merchants - Default/w Boundary Limits

With this strategy we are targeting competitors that are priced between our bounds being our min/max prices. If they are priced outside of our min/max prices we are ignoring them. After targeting them this rule will apply to go below by .01 Amount. This rule can be quite useful if a competitor is priced very low we won't reprice to our minimum price to try compete. This all takes place within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors we will increase your price to your max price.

FBA Rule (Fulfilled by Amazon Rule)

With this strategy we are targeting competitors in two different ways. First we have a competitor rule where we are targeting our FBA competitors only when we are FBA by matching them. When this does not apply we will price up by 15% against your competitors. An example of this not applying would be when you are competing against FBM sellers. This all takes place within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors we will increase your price to your max price. This repricer is ideal if you have FBA products to be competitive.

FBM Rule (Fulfilled by Merchant Rule)

With this strategy we are targeting competitors in two different ways. First we have a competitor rule where we are targeting our FBM competitors when we are FBM to go below by .01 Amount. The reason this is amount at it can be applied to different marketplace with different currencies. When this does not apply we will go below by 15% against your competitors. An example of this not applying would be when you are competing against FBA sellers. This all takes place within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors we will increase your price to your max price. This repricer is ideal if you have FBM products to be competitive.

FBA Competitor Rule - Strict (No Default Used)

With this strategy we are targeting competitors in ONLY one way. We have a competitor rule where we are targeting our FBA competitors when we are FBA to go below by .01 Amount. The reason this is amount at it can be applied to different marketplace with different currencies. When this does not apply we have set to ignore the default rule. Therefore we will not compete against anybody who does not match this rule. This all takes place within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors or ONLY competitors that do not match our competitor rule we will increase your price to your max price. This repricer is ideal if you have FBA products to only compete with other FBA competitors.

All Options on FBA & FBM

With this strategy we have combined both our FBA and FBM rule. With four competitor rules as shown below:

Targeting our FBA competitors only when we are FBA by matching them.
Targeting our FBM competitors only when we are FBA by going above by 15%
Targeting our FBA competitors only when we are FBM by going below by 15%
Targeting our FBM competitors only when we are FBM by by going below by .01 Amount

This all takes place within our min/max prices. In the case where there are no competitors we will increase your price to your max price. This repricer is ideal if you have FBA and FBM products to be competitive.

Algorithmic Repricer

The algorithmic repricer automatically adjusts the price of your products for you. The pre-programmed rules are constructed based on best industry knowledge of the weighting of different metrics used on Amazon e.g. FBA vs non-FBA, stock levels, price, feedback etc. It's a good option to start off with if you're not sure of your own custom pricing strategy.

No one knows your business like you do so we would recommend creating your own repricer as shown below or looking through our templates as shown above.

Create from Scratch

To create your on strategy from scratch you can click follow the directions below.

Directions: Dashboard>Repricer>My Repricers> Create a Repricer

Basic Settings

Within the repricer we there are some settings that are required these are marked with an asterix.

SKUs using this repricer
Here we can see how many products have been assigned this repricing strategy. If you would like to review these products you can click on the number to be brought directly to those products.

Repricer Name *
Each repricer requires a name. The name is only visible within xSellco for you to distinguish one repricer from another.

Is Active?
WIth this setting you can have the repricer active or not active. You can still attach a repricer to a product but make sure it to activate to start repricing.

Default Pricing Rule
The default rule is a rule to which the repricer will revert if none of the competitor rules apply.

Manually assign min/max
When switched off you can automatically choose to assign your min/max prices based on your costs. You can choose from Net margin Value/Percentage, Cost Price and recommended retail price.

Advanced Options

Our advanced options give a further insight of your competitors and ways to target certain groups. To access just click on “Show Advanced Options” as show below.

If BuyBox winner? *
This gives you the option to change how your repricer behaves when you have won the BuyBox. For example, you can choose:
The repricer will carry on as normal, repricing up and down
If a price change is required, it will only allow upward price movements
Do not price
However we only receive BuyBox ownership when a price change has happened which can mean if Amazon decide to change the BuyBox without a price change we can not update this setting.

Used listings *
If you sell used products, you can choose 3 ways to compete:
Used products compete equally against all other used listings
Used products compete against equal or better quality used listings
Used products only compete against equal quality used listings.

Featured merchants *
Competing against featured merchants only allows you to compete against these merchants which have reached this status and are 100% BuyBox eligible. However there are still other merchants who do not have this status but are also BuyBox eligible which you would be excluding so ensure you are happy to compete against these featured merchants or compete against all merchants.

Out of bounds sellers *
You can choose to ignore sellers who consistently price out of your min/max price ranges. For example, if a seller always price lower than your minimum, you can exclude these sellers to avoid your prices being dragged down to your minimum.

Ignore the following merchants
Paste the Merchant ID of any specific sellers you would like to ignore. Include one Merchant ID per line. To find the Merchant ID, go to your competitor’s storefront on Amazon and copy the string of letters and numbers in front of “seller=” in the URL.
Multiple stores can be added on seperate lines. If you wish to add Amazon add “AMAZON”. To learn more about the merchant/seller ID you can view our guide here.

If no competitors *
If there are no competitors on a product, you can choose to:
Change my price to my highest allowed price
Do not reprice
Do not reprice unless outside of minimum and maximum price bounds.
This can allow you to raise your prices in optimum situations.

Ignore rule? *
Here you can choose to ignore your default rule conditions in favor of your competitor rules by selecting:
Yes, never apply the default rule if none of my competitor rules have been matched
The default is to always allow the default rule to be part of the evaluation process which is:
No, always ally the default rule if none of my competitor rules have been matched

Create Competitor Rule

Once you have created your repricer you can Create a competitor rule.

You can create as many rules as you like to target specific products, markets and competitors. The more rules you create or the more rules you apply the more filtered and niche your market will become and it can be difficult to get the rule to match if it is for a very specific group.

Pricing Rule
This is your pricing outcome of the scenario you have selected below.

FBA Rule
This rule helps you break up your competitors based on fulfillment types. Here you can select in your competitor or yourself are fulfilled by Amazon or self fulfilled.

Competitor Stock Rule
With the competitor stock rule, we can target if competitors are in or out of stock and if they are domestic or not.

Our Stock Level
We can use our stock level to reprice more aggressively if we have low stock levels to ensure we can renew the stock or when we have high stock levels.

Our Stock Age
Similar to above we can also target your stock age. This way we can change our pricing strategy if we have an item that has an open date around a certain time frame of days.

Ratings Between
We can also target competitors that have a number of ratings on their Amazon store.

Rating % Between
Ratings percentage is their overall score based on their reviews over the past 12 months and we can use this as a way to target competitors.

Free Shipping Rule
If competitors have free shipping we can target those that do or do not and we can also compare with products we have free shipping on also.

Marketplaces
If we have multiple marketplaces we can restrict certain repricing strategies only for certain marketplaces and this rule will not match if the marketplace is not selected.

Merchant Exceptions
If you wish to not compete against or target a competitor/store directly you can paste the Merchant ID of any specific sellers you would like to ignore.

# Competitors Between
This competitor rule is for when you want to target products that a certain number of competitors whether that is a high or low number and have a different repricing strategy

Last Sale
With this you can choose to reprice your product based on your last sale on the product. Whether it is Hours, Days, Weeks or Months.

Buy Box Winner Rule*
Here we can change our strategy based on whether we have the BuyBox or our competitor has the BuyBox.

Once we have created our repricing strategy we then need to attach this new repricing strategy to our products. To find our the different ways this can be done click here.
