Repricer.com gives you the more features and opportunities to win and hold the Buy Box. These features will give you a better chance of competing against other sellers and to reprice your products competitively to maximise profits.

Below we list the Buy Box features you're sure to find useful;

  1. Buy Box Chaser
  2. Buy Box Optimizer
  3. Kick-Start Repricer
  4. Velocity Repricing

1. Buy Box Chaser

The Buy Box Chaser feature increases your chances of winning the Buy Box by allowing you to move prices downward, to avoid being stuck at an uncompetitive price.

How the Buy Box Chaser Works?

The Buy Box Chaser will only kick in when you are not winning the Buy Box, and will never go below your minimum price. Once you win the Buy Box or alternatively hit your minimum price, the Buy Box Chaser will stop. It will only reprice by the amount and time intervals that you choose when setting it up (see below).

How to set up the Buy Box Chaser?

Step 1: Navigate to your Repricer.com rules. You can use the Buy Box Chaser by either creating a new rule or editing an existing one.

Step 2: Once in a rule, navigate to the ‘advanced options’ which is the second step of your rule settings.

Step 3: Under the ‘Scenarios’ section, there is a ‘Buybox Chaser’ toggle that you need to switch on to enable the feature.

Step 4: Once the Buybox Chaser is enabled, the settings will appear. Here you need to set how often you want your price to decrease and how much.

Above is an example that allows the Buybox Chaser to decrease your price by 1% every hour.

2. Buy Box Optimizer

The Buy Box Optimizer allows you to maximize your sales by increasing your price when you win the Buy Box.

How the Buy Box Optimizer Works?

Once you have won the Buy Box, the Buy Box Optimizer (BBO) kicks into action and increases your price by an amount or a percentage of your choosing every 15, 30, or 60 minutes. If this causes you to lose the Buy Box, Repricer will then revert back to the price just before you lost it.

How to Set up the Buy Box Chaser?

Step 1: Navigate to your Repricer.com rules. You can use the BBO by either creating a new rule or editing an existing one.

Step 2: Once in a rule, navigate to the Advanced Options which is the second step of your rule settings.

Step 3: Under the Scenarios section, there is click on the If Buy Box Winner drop-down menu and select Optimize Profit

Step 4: After selecting Optimize Profit, the settings will collapse to choose your time increment and your amount or percentage.

The above shows an example that uses the BOO to increase the price by 1% every hour.

3. Kick-Start Repricer

The Kick-Start Repricer changes your price periodically to make your competitors react, and give you a better chance of getting the Buy Box when they do.

How the Kick-Starter Repricer works?

The Kick-Start Repricer allows you to set an automated loop of increasing or decreasing your current price by a set amount or percentage and then reverting back to the original price and repricing method. This is done to stimulate your competitors to change their price, and increase your chances of winning the Buy Box.

The Kick-Start Repricer will always respect your minimum and maximum price and never price your product out of bounds.

Setting up the Kick-Start Repricer?

Step 1: Navigate to Repricer rules. You can use the Kick-Start Repricer by either creating a new rule or editing an existing one.

Step 2: Once in a rule, navigate to the Advanced Options which is the second step of your rule settings.

Step 3: Under the Scenarios section, turn on the Kick-Start Repricer toggle

Kickstart Repricing

Step 4: Once the Kick-Starter Repricer is enabled, the settings will appear. Here you need to set how often you want your price to increase or decrease and by how much.

Kickstart Repricer

In the above example, the Kick-Start Repricer will decrease the price by 1.00 every hour, staying at that price for 15 minutes.

Once the stay at price for frequency has expired, one of two scenarios will occur:

  1. If the price change did not cause any competitors to react, then the price will revert back to the price you had before the Kick-Start was applied. The countdown will then start on when to Kick-Start again.
  2. If the price change did cause a competitor to react, and change their price, then this new price will remain, rather than reverting back to the original price. The countdown will then start on when to Kick-Start again.

4. Velocity Repricer

The Velocity Repricer enables you to Reprice your products based on its inventory levels, so you can increase your sales on products for which you don’t have competitors.

What is Velocity Repricing?

If you’re a private-label seller or are the only seller on a particular Amazon ASIN, Velocity Repricing allows you to keep your stock moving by pricing intelligently based on sales demand.

Note: It is important to note that velocity repricing will only kick in when you have no competitors on a SKU.

Just set your desired sales velocity target - quantity of stock sold over a period of time - and every 24 hours, we will increase or decrease your price based on the number of units you have sold in the preceding time frame you choose.

Setting Up Velocity Rules:

1) Click on the Repricing Rules tab in the left-side navigation bar, go to the Velocity Repricing Rules option on the drop-down bar, and click on +Add Velocity Repricer Rule.

2) Set your desired Pricing movement and amount/percentage.

3) Set your desired sales Velocity target.

4) Click Create Sales Velocity Rule.

5) You can add additional Velocity Repricing Rules to cover all scenarios. Use the sequence arrows to change the order in which the Velocity Repricer will reprice, just like Competitor Rules. Once everything is as desired, click and Save.

Assigning Velocity Rules

Attaching a Velocity Rule to an existing Standard Rule

You can attach a Velocity Rule to an existing Standard Rule via the Velocity Repricer dropdown option in the Scenarios subheading of the Advanced Options.

Velocity Standard Rule

This option works best for products that currently have little competition, and would like the repricing to continue to be automated once all competition is gone. Once the competition on the product is gone, then the Velocity Rule that is attached will kick in.

Assigning the Velocity Rule to your Products

You can also assign the Velocity Rule to your products in the products page, via CSV or manually.
