Adding Users in your xSellco helpdesk allows different members of your team to access your central account through their own login credentials. Creating different user accounts also enables better team collaboration by allowing agents to assign queries to agents with the right expertise, or automatically route Live Chats to available agents.

Once you have added a user, they can now use their own email to log into the xSellco helpdesk.

 

Creating Users Breakdown


Quick add

Users can be added by simply going to the right side of the main navigation bar and click the following.

Directions: Add > Add Teammate.

The following details are available to fill in:


Name
First and Last name area available to fill in for the user. This will be how the user is recognised in the account. As any updates to tickets will be shown with this name. Also if you can pull in an agents name into the signature.
Email
This will be the email the user/agent will login with and is a required setting
Send Invite
You can choose whether or not to send an invite to the above email to assist the user in logging into their new account.

Adding a user with quick add will automatically make them active and give them access to the Helpdesk.

NOTE:
Having linked an email to your user does NOT allow you to send emails from this email. They must be added as a channel if you wish to do this. To learn more about linking an email address to your account, click here.

 

Detailed Add

To add more information to the user such as preferred language and timezone you can add a user by following the directions below.

Directions: Settings>Users>+ Add User

The following details are available to fill in:

Name
First and Last name area available to fill in for the user. This will be how the user is recognised in the account. As any updates to tickets will be shown with this name. Also if you can pull in an agents name into the signature.
Email
This will be the email the user/agent will login with and is a required setting
Timezone
Here you can choose which timezone this user will see the account in. Auto detect would base the timezone on the IP of the user.
Preferred Language
If a user would like to change their language from the default English to another language. This would just change the xSellco application into the preferred language.
Active
Showing if the user is active or not as in if they have permission to log into this account.
